In the implementation of the economic empowerment project of the former First Lady of Ethiopia ”Connecting 1,500 Women to the Export Market” , project that was implemented by the Center for Accelerated Women’s Economic Empowerment (CAWEE), documentary video was produced with the support secured from the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) to briefly show the outcomes and impact of the project.
In this project, it was possible to provide technical skills training to six hundred eighty (680) women, three hundred fifteen (315) women in urban areas and three hundred sixty five (365) women in semi-urban and rural areas, where it was possible to connect those women to high end domestic as well as export markets, through CAWEE members involved in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), that were the market connectors.
