Things have been progressing very well in 2016, with our first Incubator Program launching back in February and a new Accelerator Program due to start in September, with 20 more entrepreneurs being supported to transform the lives of women, children and youth in Addis Ababa and beyond.  I’m delighted to update you that the five entrepreneurs we are currently supporting through our Incubator Program are making great progress and already creating real social impact – you can read a brief summary of what they are up to on our website.

There are two Reach for Change updates I would like to share with you.

1. Call out for new entrepreneurs

It gives me great pleasure to share with you the announcement of our call to action for this ear’s Accelerator Program, where aspiring social entrepreneurs will be provided with funding and intensive training to turn their ideas for supporting women and children into reality.  We have already started engaging with media for the outreach of these messages.  We would be grateful if you could circulate this call to action messages among your networks of entrepreneurs and
organizations.  We will also be having open house info sessions over the next few weeks.  We will hold the next info sessions next week on the 3rd and 5th of August (4pm-6pm) at the Gollagul, Haya Hulet on the 4th floor.  Anybody interested in the opportunity is encouraged to join these sessions.

2. We will be launching the Ethiopia Social Entrepreneurship Forum at an event on 1st September, held at the Swedish Embassy.  We would be delighted if you could join us for this exciting event.  Full details and an invitation to follow shortly.​​
