CAWEE signed an agreement with TFO Canada to implement the Women in Trade (WIT) Inclusive and Sustainable Growth project, which is a 4-year project.This project, mainly funded by Global Affairs Canada and facilitated by TFO Canada targeting women in Agribusiness, focusing on capacity building for export promotion in increasing the share of exports generated by women-led Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

As a trade support organization, WIT is expected to build the capacity of CAWEE to engage more women in leadership positions and improve the ability of women-led exporters to understand and meet the demand of Canadian and other foreign buyers for selected products and services.
