CAWEE's Executive Director Met the UAE Consul General to Ethiopia

The Executive Director of the Center for Accelerated Women’s Economic Empowerment (CAWEE) met Ambassador Jerusalem Amdemariam, Consul General in Dubai, UAE on August 09, 2021. Accompanying her at the meeting was CAWEE’s partner in Dubai Ms. Marianna from Bizzmosis.

The meeting focused on establishing potential partnership areas with a focused on facilitating the connection of women in business among the two sister countries, organizing an event at the Women’s Pavilion during Expo 2020 and exploring opportunities how best the Embassy can utilize the services that Bizzmosis is providing.

CAWEE’s Executive Director had a one-to-one meeting with Ambassador Jerusalem in visiting women returnees that were accommodated in a shelter facility provided by the Consulate General Office in Dubai, UAE.  The discussion focused on how best CAWEE can closely work with the Embassy in economically empowering Ethiopian women returnees, where conducting further consultations
