& BACO Signed MoU to Empower Women Returnees
The
Executive Director of CAWEE, Dr. Nigest Haile has officially signed a MoU with
the Executive Director of Biruh Adis Charitable Organization (BACO), Wubendene
Embiale, August 14, 2025, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. This partnership marks a
significant step forward in the commitment of the two organizations to
economically empower women returnees and advocate for policy reforms that
foster an inclusive and supportive environment.
The MoU mainly outlines collaborative efforts to undertake in providing marketable skills, business development services and other required support services to women returnees, considering as well their reintegration into society.
CAWEE believes that, this partnership will create opportunities to support women returnees to establish their businesses as well as secure decent & fulfilling jobs, thus they get economically empowered to support themselves and their families and contribute their level best to the nation’s economic development.
