CAWEE organized an experience sharing platform for graduates of the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) program on January 27, 2022 at Radisson Blu Hotel, Addis Ababa. Participants of the event were AWE graduates from the past five different cohorts. During the event, graduates shared their live experiences, mainly in using the business plans that each one of them were able to develop during the training. At the event, one of the USADF grantees (that won a competition based on her business plan) shared her experience. The platform was a great opportunity to learn from each other and to encourage one another.
During the event, participants had the opportunity to get introduced to an e-commerce sales platform called Skadmas (https://www.skadmas.com), which is based in New York, where live demonstrations and explanations were made on how the platform works. The Founder of Skadmas from New York joined the discussion virtually where she was also joined by her representative from Ethiopia.
