As a side event to the AUC 37^th Summit, the Africa Business Forum 2024 was organized by the UN ECA focusing on the theme: “Boosting Africa’s Transformation through Education, Science, Technology and Innovation”, February 19, 2024 at the UN Conference Center ECA, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The forum was very engaging involving high level dignitaries (Presidents, Prime Ministers, Ministers, Ambassadors, etc.) as keynote speakers, moderators, panelists and participants, where the Executive Director of CAWEE had the opportunity to take part.

For CAWEE, the forum was an opportunity to learn from the experiences of other countries’ initiatives, opportunity for networking, meeting the Executive Secretary of the ECA & UN under Secretary General, Mr. Claver Gatete and also meeting women leaders that support women in business.
