CAWEE AND EVOLVIN’ WOMEN SIGNED MOU

CAWEE and Evolvin’ Women, a Social Enterprise based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on September 3, 2020. Using a unique business model, proposing a framework for safe migration, CAWEE and Evolvin’ Women have agreed to partner and work together.

CAWEE in consultation with the Ministry of Labor & Social Affairs (MOLSA) & other concerned stakeholders will facilitate beneficiaries’ selection; identify the final pool of potential beneficiaries, conduct life skills and enterprise development trainings, and work on the reintegration process in facilitating business start-up development or full-time employment in Ethiopia.

Evolvin’ Women will be involved in conducting trainings on life and employability skills, facilitate employment placements in the UAE, providing mentoring, coaching, on-the-job training, and follow-up services.

The initiative aims to contribute its level best in the reduction of unemployment in Ethiopia, in encouraging the private sector to be socially responsible and to become more inclusive in contributing its part in employment creation.
