Advocating for Women in SMEs Access in Public Procurement

CAWEE is identified as one of the organizations in Ethiopia to implement the “Strengthened Women’s Networks for Greater Impact (STITCH)”project.STITCH funded by the European Union (EU), is facilitated byThe African Women’s Development and Communication Network (FEMNET) and Oxfam Ethiopia Office.

 

The project “Facilitating Access for Women SMEs to Public Procurement” is designed to lobby for public procurement policyrevision and amendment, so that women in SMEs can enjoy their rights and benefit from the conducive and easy access in public procurement.

 

In implementing this project, the engagement and active participation of men is given due focus where policy dialogue forums are expected to be organized to be able to secure more men allies in CAWEE’s advocacy engagement.
